Lora Denton graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and a Bachelor of Arts in German. She is an entrepreneur and runs her own small business doing local portrait family photography. Her work has been featured in several magazines and publications, including two covers of Midwifery Today. In her spare time, she enjoys stand up paddle-boarding, hiking and spending time with her two kids at home in Charlotte, NC.

Linda has over twenty-five years of experience in the Marketing Communications arena-- with a broad-based generalist background in Corporate Communications-- including the writing, design and production of promotional and marketing media (electronic and print) direct marketing campaigns, public relations, advertising and event management. She has an extensive background in Corporate Marketing Communications and worked in the technology sector for many years. She has experience in the Agency and Event Production side of the business as well-- and works as a program manager, a producer and consultant. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, walking, photography, words, people and travel. But most of all, she loves learning.
Fascination with the science of getting rich is something I learned in law school and something I apply as a professional marketer. While interacting with so many people over the years, I observed that strategy is the key to winning clients, as well as the key most things needed for success. I became fixated with finding out how and why some people and brands seem to achieve more than others In this quest, I co-founded The Social University and we discovered that many of the top brands, agencies, and masters in e-commerce were using similar science-based social marketing techniques.
