3 Steps to Prioritize Your Business To-Do List

What are you working on today?

How many times do you sit at your desk wondering, what should I focus on today? 

How many times do you go to bed feeling like you barely touched your TO DO list and feeling like you are DOING “tasks” but you truly have no DIRECTION?

Watch these 3 STEPS to stop spinning your wheels:

Let’s break them down. 3 steps you can take to master your TO-DO list:

 

  1. ASSESS: First things first, let’s understand where we are. I used to sit at my desk not knowing what I needed to focus on, that’s why I created the Clarity Assessment. Using THE IDEA METHOD framework, the CLARITY ASSESSMENT explores nine layers of business so that you can get CLEAR on where your business needs your focus.  
  2. PRIORITIZE: Make a list of all the lowest scoring components of your business. All the layers that score 5 or less (out of 10) write them down and ask yourself, what do I need to do to bring this number to a 10? 
  3. TAKE ACTION: Stop feeling unaccomplished! Go to bed knowing you completed significant tasks and are moving forward. Start by making a shortlist. Write down 3 things that you can reasonably accomplish TODAY. Go from Confusion to Clarity!
