So, what song do you carry inside? At every moment, every day, we are having an impact on the people around us, what do you want this impact to be? Let’s design it:
- ANCHOR IN POSSIBILITY: Every day we have a choice, we can focus on what’s possible or we can focus on what’s wrong. Each one of us can find these two polar experiences in our daily life. Which one do you choose?
- BE AWARE: Are you aware of every move you make? Every moment of the day, how are you showing up? Are you the one complaining about everything in your life? Sharing with the first person you run into, everything that is going wrong? Or are you the kind of person that smiles and moves forward, singing down the street, sharing your song? Either version of you is sowing an experience in the world, choose wisely.
- MARKET YOUR SONG: Now, let’s translate this into your work! Whether you are leading your own business or working for one, are you sharing your song with your coworkers, clients, colleagues? Nothing is more attractive than to show up from a place of authenticity and conscious impact.
Not sure how to find your song? 😉

TURN UP THE VOLUME AS I’M WHISPERING
So, are you being a flight attendant? Are there areas, in your business, where you are «delivering» information in a dry, unengaged way? Here are three things to consider:
- ACKNOWLEDGE: Always acknowledge your audience. Make them feel that you are seeing them, that you are talking to them. As a flight attendant, they could use the opportunity to point out some of the passengers, the destination they are heading to or something that would make the audience pay attention right before they deliver the «MUST HAVE» safety message. So can you.
- AUTHENTICITY: Who are you? Who is your organization? Each of us, whether we are operating as a one man show or a multiple people organization, need to showcase our authenticity to our audience in order to gain their trust and help them engage in our IDEAS.
- STAND OUT: Don’t be afraid to STAND OUT. Don’t hesitate to be different, at the end of the day, you have to give your audience a reason to listen to you vs someone with the same message/product/IDEA/Value proposition.

I look forward to «seeing» you later,

Yes, I see this all the time. I get clients to come to me because they have almost given up trying. They have a calling, they have a desire to do meaningful work, but they can’t figure out how to STAND OUT. How to be seen, engage with their potential clients and ultimately grow their business.
So, if this feels like you, then here’s what you can do about it:
- HONOR YOURSELF: Allow yourself to be you. Yes! Even if there are 100 people talking about the same topic, selling the same product, pitching the same idea, people will respond to you because they resonate with who you are. I see this all the time, coaches that guide clients to adopting a different persona, becoming extroverts if they are not, staging their stage presence, I say… embrace who you are AND BE MORE OF YOU. Authenticity pays off!
- FOCUS: Avoid the temptation to solving everyone’s problem. Be really clear on what problem you want to solve and for whom. The broader your solution, the lower the resonance and the engagement. Ask yourself, who do you want to be a hero to? Who do you really want to stand up for? And focus on those people, put a face to them, how do they feel, what do they struggle with? Talk to them.
- BECOME WHOLE: When I originally graduated from coaching school, I was told that from then on, I was a coach. Whatever experience I had previously no longer mattered, that if I was to become a coach I needed to forget my past experience or skills, I was to be a blank canvas for my clients. Well, that sounds great, but how do I define my niche and stand out from other coaches if I can’t bring all of who I am? It was not until I allowed myself to say, «I’m a coach, and an entrepreneur and have 20 years experience in marketing and communications, and I’m a TEDx organizer and I’m a Mum of 4 and I’m an Argentinean living in the US and so on and so forth…» You see my point, it’s in the uniqueness of who you are the relies your uniqueness. Share that with the world and connect!

STAND OUT!
Where do YOU begin?
How do we break down that overwhelming goal?
«The Journey of 1,000 miles begins with one step.» Lao Tzu
Here’s how you, can take that first step, that MVA (Minimum Viable Action/Decision/Step/Project):
VISION: Define the outcome. When you succeed, when you accomplish the goal, what does that look like? Describe it in as much detail as you can.
TAKE INVENTORY: Look around, what is at your reach? What resources do you have? Financial resources, network, support, tools, inventory, skills? What do you have, at your fingertips, that you can tap into and begin taking action.
DEFINE ACTION: With a clear vision and knowing what you can count on, what is the most logical, doable, reachable and actionable first step? Trust me, it might seem silly, small, or simple, but if it is something you can take action on, then do it. You will be surprised how something that seems VERY small might unlock a world of possibilities.
You might not know this, but at Masters in Clarity, we gather as a community, taking baby steps day after day, week after week, and our community members are building companies, fulfilling dreams and making magic in the world.
