We had the honor of interviewing Heather Vickery, the author of Gratitude Journal: Shift Your Focus and Grow Grateful: A Gratitude Journal for Kids and Families, and the host and executive producer of The Brave Files Podcast. Heather inspires audiences and empowers attendees with the tools they need to live bold and successful lives through creating balance, time management, as well as countless systems, strategies, and boundaries.
In our conversation, Heather and I talked about how to not live a life based on fear. Thinking outside of the rabbit hole that many of us feel on a daily basis. Getting out of that fear and learning to be intentionally brave.
Heather opens up about fear. How it’s not just an emotion. Fear is important and tells us something valuable that allows us to reflect and propel forward.
How can you learn to leverage into Intentional Bravery?
- Evaluate your Fear
- Practice gratitude to help alleviate the feelings behind your Fear
- Showing up is 80% of success – Just Be There!
- Identify your fears and place them into bite size pieces with an intentional plan
Remember that being brave doesn’t always mean something huge. Getting through the day, through your week, handling all those tasks that are thrown at you daily – that’s bravery.
Final Thoughts from Heather Vickery:
“Every day there should be something that scares you a little.”
