- VISION: This is an obvious one, but ask an entrepreneur how clear they are in where they are going and 6 out 10 will respond that they are not clear. Without a CLEAR destination, it is almost impossible to drive your business to success. - SUPPORT: Surround yourself with people that inspire you, empower you and hold your vision. Trust me, there are many times when you will want to give up. Let them remind you of where you are going and what you are working towards.
- EMBRACE THE CHALLENGE: Every time we are challenged by a situation we have two choice: resist it or embrace it. When my husband lost his job two years ago, I went into panic for about a minute and then I asked myself, how will freaking out help me? All of a sudden, I became the only provider for our family of 6 and I went from full time mum and part time entrepreneur to part time mum and full time entrepreneur in 30 days, needing to meet our financial needs. I can’t say it was easy, but I CAN say that embracing the challenge and pushing through the fear, self doubt and uncertainty has made me stronger, more confident, more resilient and an even better coach for my clients.
I believe the entrepreneurship journey is one of the most efficient paths to personal development. Our RESULTS are a consequence of our ACTIONS, which are informed by our BELIEF system, which has been created since birth and defines our IDENTITY.
