Stop being everything for everyone

Just as an inside note, my father was soooo embarrassed to appear on my video 😉 and I almost did get run over so don’t try that at home!

But, let’s get back in topic. Are you playing SMALL enough? Are you CLEAR on your niche and who you want to work with? The larger the audience you are targeting, the least impact you will have. So, how do you accomplish this? Here are three key elements:

  • WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE A HERO TO?: Who are these people? Clearly put yourself in their shoes. What do they like, where do they hang out, what worries them, how old are they? Gender? What books do they read? What problems do they face? The more intimate you are with your target audience, the deeper you will be able to connect.
  • WHAT ARE YOU SOLVING?: What challenge do they have that YOU can solve? This is not about being the one-stop shop of all problems. This is about owning and knowing exactly what is the ONE THING you are uniquely brilliant at to bring to your people.
  • WHY DO YOU DO THIS WORK?: What is the compelling reason why you wake up every morning to do this work? What is it that motivates you to keep moving forward? What is the “bigger than you” longing that you want to address in this world? Tap into it, let it inspire your marketing message, let it give you the energy to keep moving forward even when you don’t feel like it.

We are here because we are called to do this work. Keep at it, keep showing up, keep believing that you are the one to help your IDEAL CLIENT.

I believe in your work! in Clarity,
